Effective date: 2 September 2026
This policy explains what personal data SiamCarMate, operated by Fulcrum Data Technologies, collects when you order an inspection or browse this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. We collect as little as the service allows.
1.1. When you place an order we collect your name, your contact details (WhatsApp, LINE, phone or email), the vehicle you want inspected, and anything you choose to tell us in the notes field.
1.2. When you pay, the payment is processed by our payment provider. Card numbers never reach our servers; we retain only the transaction reference, the amount and whether the payment succeeded.
1.3. When you visit the site we collect standard technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and the referring link, including any campaign or listing parameters in the URL.
1.4. We do not collect special category data, and we ask you not to send us any.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
3.1. To arrange access to the vehicle we contact the seller ourselves. We identify ourselves as an inspection company acting for a buyer.
3.2. We do not give the seller your name, your contact details or your budget unless you explicitly ask us to.
4.1. We use third parties to run the service. Each of them receives only what it needs:
Some of these providers operate outside Thailand. Where that is the case, we rely on their contractual data protection commitments.
5.1. Alongside personal data we maintain a database of the Thai used car market: vehicle listings, asking prices, odometer readings and auction records, drawn from publicly available sources.
5.2. This data describes vehicles, not people. It is not linked to you, and your order does not become part of it.
6.1. Order and report records are kept for five years, which is the period during which a question about an inspection may realistically arise and the period our accounting obligations require.
6.2. Enquiries that do not turn into orders are deleted after twelve months.
6.3. Analytics data is retained in aggregate form only.
7.1. Under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act you may ask us to:
Write to [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
8.1. We use the cookies necessary for the site to function, and analytics cookies to count visits and see which pages are read.
8.2. You can block cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work; our view of how it is used simply becomes less accurate.
9.1. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and access to order records is restricted to the people who need it to do the work.
9.2. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you.
10.1. If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated to clients with an open order.
